MY JOURNEY

I’m passionate about sharing my story with an interactive Author Talk at libraries and for community groups. Along with reading passages from Living My Shadows, I pose questions to the group and answers questions from the audience. I’ll discuss my journey through the foster care and adoption system and the strength and confidence I found in the military. It concludes with the trials and triumph of finding my birth parents and extended family.

The story will resonate with those who have been part of the foster care/adoption system or those looking for a deeper understanding of the impact on children. It will also resonate with people who want to connect more deeply with their roots, and with anyone who wants to be inspired to follow their heart.
